The Foundation

Since our founding in 1982, RFWF programs have operated out of borrowed and shared spaces. It was a longtime dream of board members, volunteers and staff to ultimately create a community space that would house all of our programs and provide value and resources to the communities we serve. 

In April 2024, we opened the doors to The Foundation. This space is not only headquarters for all RFWF operations but also a community hub where service and connection happens. Everyday, Plateau neighbors connect through service. The Foundation is truly a community hub that brings together neighbors of all ages and backgrounds. 

Our very visible location on Griffin Avenue positions us to welcome in neighbors in need. Daily, we are visited by neighbors experiencing some level of need. As they walk in, they are greeted by a staff person or volunteer eager to connect them with resources. Most importantly, they are welcomed in and treated as a neighbor and friend.
