Board of Trustees
Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation's Board of Trustees is composed of committed volunteers who steer the organization toward fulfilling its mission of improving community health and well-being.
Suzanne Lewis
Board President
Suzanne Lewis is a Washington Native, having lived on the Plateau since 1977. Professionally, Suzanne is an experienced physical therapist working with clients who have developmental disabilities as well as general orthopedics.
She enjoys being outdoors, whether it's cross-country skiing or backpacking. The mother of two fabulous grown children and two equally amazing grandchildren, Suzanne, and her wife can be found cheering on the Husky football team, camping, or searching for wine tasting events.
Suzanne’s passion for people has drawn her to serve on the board of RFWF to work toward better mental health and reduced food insecurity on the Plateau. She has been an integral part of RFWF since 2011.
Suzanne’s next big goal is to complete the entire Pacific Crest Trail.

Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation Staff
The staff of Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation is a dedicated and compassionate team committed to improving the health and well-being of individuals and families in the community.
Sara Stratton
Executive Director
A proud Enumclaw Hornet, Sara is grateful to serve the community that raised her. When outside the RFWF office, you’ll find Sara outdoors – either running, hiking with her family, mountain biking, or gardening. Otherwise, she is cheering on her three active kids at their sporting events.
Prior to joining RFWF as Executive Director in 2020, Sara worked in non-profit leadership at World Vision and Ragini Project, in addition to roles in marketing & communications, event production, and recreation management. She is committed to identifying the existing needs of our community and working with compassionate partners to implement relevant and sustainable solutions.
Sara’s next big goal is to create a community connections center for RFWF and the greater plateau – a space that sparks hope and inspires service. And also to qualify for the Boston Marathon and hike to every fire lookout tower in Washington before she turns 40.
